2018 Christmas Gift Guide: "Undying"

Undying
By Stephen B. Bagley & Gail Henderson

Enjoy a good shiver on a moonlit night with these thrilling, chilling poems. Oklahoma poets and authors Stephen B. Bagley and Gail Henderson share a sometimes darkly humorous look at the creatures of the ever night, mythical and otherwise. You'll meet a vampire who definitely doesn't sparkle, a werewolf who chooses freedom, gods and goddesses who are all too human, brave astronauts and greedy planet jumpers, and down to earth monsters who may live next door. You'll learn what happens to a modern day Dr. Frankenstein after he creates the perfect woman, why it's better to refuse that crimson invitation, and the sorrow that stalks us even when the sky is bright and the clouds few. You might even discover the creature that goes bump in the night is actually you.

2018 Christmas Gift Guide - "Mind Trip"

Mind Trip
By Heath Stallcup

These are just some of the dark and twisted ideas that have run through the mind of Heath Stallcup over the years. Join him in a journey to the darker side of short story fiction. A compiled collection of short stories for your reading pleasure. Mobsters intent on ruling the world reveals that sometimes you just can’t go home. The release of a zombie virus on a small rural college town, followed by the ramifications on the parent company and the results of trying to hide your culpability. Sometimes reality isn’t what you think it is. Those noises in the attic may not be rats… Dwelling on the past can be introspective but refusing to let go will skew your reality. When asking Santa for something, remember to be specific. The search for ultimate truth and knowledge opens the creator to dark influences. You know you are about to die. You want nothing more than to protect your loved ones. In a fever induced delirium you lead the threat away from those you care most about.

2018 Christmas Gift Guide - "Caldera"

Caldera
By Heath Stallcup

For years, the biggest threat that Yellowstone was thought to offer was in the form of its semi-dormant super volcano. Little did anyone realize the threat was real and slowly working its way to the surface, but not in the form of magma. Lying deep within the bowels of the earth itself, an ancient virus waited. Recently credited with the extinction of Neanderthal man, the virus erupts into a crowded Yellowstone. The park is packed with sight seers and party goers during a benefit concert who are all now fodder for the ancient rage virus. Follow along as Park Rangers and local Sheriff’s find themselves overwhelmed with a park full of infected human cannibals.
